End Tables: An end table is a small table placed beside a chair or at each end of a sofa. It should be relative in depth to the arm of the chair or sofa it flanks. Another current design trend is to opt for the oversized ottoman as coffee table. By placing a tray on top of an oversized ottoman, you create a more stable surface and an attractive focal point.
Another nice feature of accent tables along with their beauty is how they are practical. Remember, they are a table and they have lovely, spacious surfaces where you can nicely set down and display pretty much anything that you want from family photos, to vases filled with flowers, and lamps to add extra lighting to your space. There are some that even feature different storage options like drawers, shelves, and cabinets, giving you a nice spot to tuck away books, magazines, remote controls, and even special keepsakes.
One more thing you can do is add attractive objects to the table to make it look a bit much more one-of-a-kind. In many cases people will add a tile top, or mosaic in a certain layout. These can truly make a table look like something fresh and also new. Likewise do not overlook the capacities of equipment. Often adding decorative equipment items onto a current, less than excellent, table will make it appear like a whole brand-new piece.
